SnowMassive Open Disc Golf Tournament June 20-22
Limited Entry PDGA Tier B Event
Snowmass Village, CO
General Information: One of the highest disc golf locations in the country and the only Colorado resort with two on-mountain courses (36 holes), Snowmass is the largest of the four Aspen/Snowmass mountains and is located in the Town of Snowmass Village.
Lodging: Snowmass Village has many affordable lodging choices. For options, please click on www.snowmassvillage.com. For camping option, please click on www.wildernet.com for a list of White River National Forest Government sites.Golf: The event will be a minimum of 54 holes of disc golf with assigned tee times. This is a sanctioned PDGA event and all rules of the PDGA apply. You are responsible for knowing all rules. The course will be similar to the current Snowmass courses with an additional 9 holes added to each of the two courses. As of today, final design has not been determined. Doubles best disc will be played on Friday June 20th. Tee off for the doubles will be 1:00. A 10-12 min lift ride is required for all events so please plan accordingly.
Registration: Your players package includes 2 days of lift tickets, a commemorative disc, a players party on Saturday night with a complimentary keg of beer and assorted Snowmass swag. Click to register milehighdiscgolf.org
Prizes: Prizes and cash will be awarded for the top 40% of each division with four or more participants. Prizes include: Limited Edition Commemorative Discs, gift certificates and other assorted items. Bag Tags will be awarded to the top 3 of each division with 4 or more entries and only to those categories that have 4 or more entries two weeks prior to event. Pro Division will receive cash payouts.

The Event: The Snowmassive Open Disc Golf Tournament will be a minimum of 54 holes of disc golf with assigned tee times on Saturday and Sunday. This is a sanctioned PDGA event and all rules of the PDGA apply. The course will follow the regular Snowmass mountain courses with an additional 9 holes added to each of the two courses. Final course design has not been determined. A special Doubles Best Disc will be played before the official tournament on Friday June 20th. Tee off for the doubles will be 1:00pm. A 10-12 min lift ride is required for all events, so please plan accordingly. Participants will receive lift tickets at the event. Friends and family may purchase additional lift tickets for $6.
Directions: From Denver take I-70 West to Glenwood Springs (about 2 ½ hours), and then go south on Highway 82 to Brush Creek Road. Turn right on Brush Creek Road and head up to the ski area base (follow signs). Park in any numbered lot and head toward registration in the Ticket Pavilion of the Snowmass Village Mall.
