Snowmass' Thursday night concerts draw crowds by the thousands to Fanny Hill to hear some of the best rock, R&B, soul and Latin music in the mountains--for free! Bring along a blanket or low lawn chair and a picnic dinner for the ultimate al fresco experience (byo alcohol is prohibited, beer and wine are for sale on site.). Dogs are welcome in a designated area.

July 2             Karl Denson with Tiny Universe - A highly energized funk machine that expands audiences’ minds, making them move to animated grooves. Led by former Lenny Kravitz sax-man Karl Denson, the Tiny Universe brings a dynamic sound that defies any categorization earning them a reputation as kings of the unstoppable all-night snows.. The band members include Denson on vocals, tenor sax, alto sax and flute, guitarist Brian Jordan, bassist Ron Johnson, keyboard player David Veith, trumpet player Chris Littlefield and drummer John Staten.  Stay après concert for a tremendous fireworks show!
 
July 9             Cyril Neville – The youngest of the four Neville Brothers, Cyril is one of the last great voices of New Orleans music.  A bluesman for 40 years, this talented percussionist and vocalist brings together a great sound of funky R&B. Cyril is known as an artist who can interpret and cover songs with a great style and energy, and in many cases, superior to the original renditions of the songs. His original material bears witness to the experiences, influences, and other forces
that have shaped who he is today and honors the musical and cultural traditions of his native New Orleans.
 
July 16            Iguanas – Hailing from New Orleans, the Iguanas capture the pan-cultural rhythms of New Orleans musical heritage with Latin shuffles, gritty funk, dark cinematic jazz and Basin Street horns to create world music in the true sense of the term.  Band members include lead vocalists Rod Hodges guitarist/ accordionist and Joe Cabral, on saxophone and bajo sexton (a Mexican stringed instrument), along with bassist Rene Coman and drummer Doug Garrison.  
 
July 23            Band of Heathens
– Known for their country-soul-rock and roll sound and finely crafted songs, the band has a distinct quality of having three front men, each who sings, writes and plays lead guitar, Colin Brooks, Ed Jurdi and Gordy Quist.  They are joined by bassist Seth Whitney and drummer John Chipman. Band of Heathens won “Best New Band” by the esteemed Austin Music Awards.
July 30            Ryan Shaw – The 26-year-old Georgian singer/songwriter prodigy brings together a combination of Southern warmth and New York vitality with his thrilling voice and charismatic presence.  His voice has been described as big, raw and rangy, unmistakably Southern and full of fire and conviction, exploding with energy and emotion.

August 6        Trombone Shorty
– Troy “Trombone Shorty” Andrews, known as the most popular trombone player in New Orleans, delivers high-energy, highly contagious funk/pop/hip-hop mix of music that feels more like arena rock than a night in the French Quarter. Band members include the talents of Mike Ballard on bass, Pete Muran on guitar, Dan Oestreicher on baritone sax, Joey Peebles on drums and Dwayne Williams on percussion.
