Begun in 1951 by Aspen locals searching for a unique way to celebrate the valley's Nordic lifestyle, Wintersköl now encompasses four days of zany winter events in Aspen/Snowmass from January 8-11.

    Public Service Announcement: The 33rd Annual Snowmass Balloon festival is seeking daily volunteers to help crew hot air balloons on all days of the festival: Thursday, September 11, through Sunday, September 14. Early riser volunteers will be needed starting at 7 a.m. all days except Friday, when they will be needed at 6:30 a.m. To sign up to volunteer and reserve your free balloon T-Shirt, call Jacqi Stewart at (970) 618-2225.
