Owl Creek Chase-Aspen Nordic Festival
The Owl Creek Chase has been one of Colorado’s premier cross-country ski races since 1985. The challenging course from Snowmass Village to Aspen presents the very best that Colorado skiing has to offer; tough climbs, scenic views, thrilling descents and excellent snow conditions.

February 15 - Ski with the Pros
Hosted
by the Ute Mountaineer & Aspen Cross Country Center. Free skate
lesson from factory team members (Saab, Alpina, Madhus, Rossignol,
Fischer/Craft). All levels of XC skating. Start is 10am at the Aspen XC
Center 970-924-2849.
Course Description
The 21K event of the Owl Creek Chase begins at the Snowmass Cross Country Center.
The course follows a loop around the Snowmass Club Golf Course before
connecting to the Owl Creek Trail. Follow the Owl Creek Trail,
crossing Buttermilk, and the TiehackBridge. After the bridge we are finalizing a new route that will finish at the Aspen Valley Ski & Snowboard Club.
