Snowmass Village Recreation Center

Mountain Biking

From beginner to expert, Snowmass has an extensive trail system with over 40 miles of scenic single track and roads to explore. The Elk Camp gondola now runs in summer seven days a week with the lift going to the top of the ridge Friday through Sunday delivering over 3,000 vertical feet of an unbeatable mountain network of trails.  A five-acre terrain course offers downhill thrills, jumps and berms to test your skill level. Head to the Discovery Zone located at the end of the Snowmass Village Mall. Even more trails, parks and on-mountain activities to come!  Ready for a real adventure? Kids Crafts

Jeeping Tours

Hiking

There is no better place to experience Colorado hiking than on Snowmass Mountain. Try a short hike on the Ditch Trail for an amazing view of the Snowmass Creek Valley or explore the KAR Trail from top of the to Sam’s Knob Lift down to Burlingame Lift. The new Bear Claw Trail connects West Government and the Ditch Trail. Next summer, the new Cross Mountain Trail will be completed linking the Uhlrhof Restaurant area and Elk Camp/East Government area. Golf

The Snowmass Club – Golf & Tennis
The 18-hole, par-72 Snowmass Club Golf Course boasts a 7,008-yard semi-private course designed by Jim Engh. Voted‚ "Best New Course‚" by Colorado Golf Magazine; amenities include a learning center, practice area, golf clubhouse, and the Black Saddle Bar & Grille.
 
The fairways are sculpted, the greens are challenging, and the bunkers are downright frightening. This course isn't one you'll soon master – or forget. With five sets of tees, novices and pros alike are guaranteed an adventure.

Fly Fishing

Guided Wade Trips: Spend a half or full-day with experienced local guides, fishing either the Colorado River or the Roaring Fork and Frying Pan rivers, both of which have been desig-nated as Gold Medal Trout Rivers by the Colorado Division of Wildlife. Guided Float Trips: Try your flies against trophy-size trout by floating the Colorado River through spectacular Glenwood Canyon or down the Roaring Fork River with experienced lo-cal guides. Fishing license is required.
