Summer

Snowmass during the summer - there's never a dull moment. Each weekend is filled with fabulous events. If you're looking for a beautiful mountain resort to make memories of a lifetime with your kids, come to Snowmass Village.

Snowmass Village offers theatre and crafts camps for kids, which encourages children to nurture their own creative and artistic talents. These include activities at the Aspen Art Museum such as "Back To Nature" taught by popular local artists and providing a week-long summer camp for children ages 7-10. These courses provide the opportunity for children to sketch and paint the flora and fauna of Snowmass.

Late July sees Snowmas Village's summer kids camp taking over the mall - with focus on making textiles using techniques such as tie-dye, batik, paint, and fabric decoration.

Winter

Treehouse
Opening for the 07/08 ski season, the Aspen Skiing Company will unveil The Treehouse Kids' Adventure Center at Snowmass base village. This $17 million project is the largest capital project the company has developed in its history.

This two-story, 25,000-square-foot facility is located at the intersection of the three new lifts on Fanny Hill.

The Treehouse stands as the first of its kind in the snowsports industry, and will contain: family-friendly climbing gym, teen activities, kids' retail and a host of themed rooms for ages eight weeks and older.

Skiing
Our kids' programs for ages 7-12 skiers and ages 8-12 snowboarders are designed to allow children to fall in love with skiing and snowboarding. Kids explore the coolest trails and adventure zones, and practice jibbing skills in the park & pipe – all while making friends and learning to ski and ride in a fun, supportive environment. . Private lessons are available for young skiers and riders every day. Lessons begin at 9:30 a.m. Kids should arrive at the meeting place at 9:15 a.m. with their lift ticket.
