Rules and Regulations	Town of Snowmass Village “Snowmass Wellness Experience Sweepstakes” Official Sweepstakes Rules BY ENTERING THE SWEEPSTAKES, YOU ARE ALSO ELECTING TO RECEIVE FURTHER E-MAIL COMMUNICATION FROM THE SPONSOR AND YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO REMOVE YOURSELF FROM THE SPONSOR’S E-MAIL LIST IN EACH E-MAIL COMMUNICATION. 1) Description of Sweepstakes/How to Enter: No Purchase Necessary to Enter or to Win a Prize. The Town of Snowmass Village (the "Sponsor") is offering the (2) weekend All Access Weekend Passes for the Snowmass Wellness Experience 2008 and will award prizes based on a random selection of all eligible entrants. The Sweepstakes begins at 12:01 AM, June 6th, 2008 US Mountain Time (MT) and ends August 1, 2008 at 11:59 PM, US MT, ("Sweepstakes Period"). To enter, visit www.snowmassvillage.com and complete the registration form by providing your first name, last name, street address, city, state, zip code, home phone number including area code and your email address. Your email address is the only field of information required for valid entry and any additional information provided will be used for the purposes of contact in the event you are selected as a winner. There is a limit of one entry per person per email address. Any person who attempts to enter with fictitious, duplicitous or invalid email addresses will be disqualified. 2) Prizes: All Access Weekend Pass for two (2) people to the Snowmass Wellness Experience August 15 – 17, 2008 in Snowmass Village, CO (“All Access Weekend Pass Prize”), Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) $175 each. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received. 3) Eligibility: Sweepstakes open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older. Promotion is void where prohibited or restricted by law. Employees, officers and representatives (and members of their immediate families and those living in the same household of each) of the Town of Snowmass Village, its affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies and any company involved in the design, execution or production of the promotion are not eligible. 4) General: The winner will be selected in a random drawing from all valid entries by Extra Mile Marketing, an independent judging firm, on or about August 2, 2008. The potential Grand Prize winner will be contacted by email, phone and or regular USPS mail within one (1) business day of the drawing and will be required to complete an Affidavit of Eligibility and a Liability/Publicity Release (“Affidavit”) (unless prohibited by law). The Affidavit must be returned within five (5) days of Sponsor’s provision of the document. Potential winner may also be required to send a copy of a passport, driver's license, birth certificate or other appropriate documentation (acceptable to Sponsor) as proof of potential winner's age and residency. Traveling companion of the Grand Prize winner must be 18 years of age or older and will be required to provide proof of age and complete a Liability/Publicity release prior to prize award. Non-compliance with any of these requirements will result in disqualification, in which case an alternate winner will be chosen. First, Second and Third Place winners will be contacted by phone and/or email to confirm prize acceptance and verify shipping address for the prize. Failure to respond to Sponsor’s first notification within five (5) days will result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Return of Affidavit and/or prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be selected. ANY AND ALL TAX LIABILITY RESULTING FROM THE WINNER'S RECEIPT OF THE PRIZE IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER. There are no prize transfers, prize substitutions or cash options except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. In the event of unavailability of any prize, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute items of equal or greater value. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an electronic entry, the entry will be deemed to be submitted by the "authorized account holder" person in whose name the email account is registered, provided that person meets all eligibility criteria set forth in the Eligibility section of these official rules. "Authorized Holder" shall mean the natural person assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. By entering, participants (a) agree to comply with and be bound by the official rules and the decisions of the Sponsor which is final and binding in all respects; (b) agree to release Sponsor and its employees and agents from any and all liability, loss, damage or injury resulting from participation in this Sweepstakes or from the awarding, receipt, possession use and/or misuse of any prize; (c) acknowledge that Sponsor and its employees and agents have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize including, but not limited to, its quality, mechanical condition or fitness for a particular purpose; and (d) consent to use of his/her name, photograph and/or likeness, statements and voice for advertising and promotional purposes in all media worldwide and in perpetuity without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law. Sponsor is not responsible for any lost, late, delayed, misdirected, garbled, illegible, incorrect or inaccurate information or entries that are misdirected or misrouted as a result of interrupted or unavailable network, phone or internet connections or transmissions for any reason, or for any computer, phone, phone line hardware or software malfunction, failure or error of any kind, whether mechanical, human or electronic. Any entries received by using robotic, automatic, programmed or similar techniques are not eligible. Any attempt by an entrant to interfere with the operations of the Sweepstakes is a violation of criminal and civil laws; Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such entrant to the fullest extent permitted by law. If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including, without limitation, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes and select winners in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received prior to the cancellation.
