Another amazing weekend at Snowmass
So, after an amazing week of snow (around 40" last week I believe), the sky cleared once again to award us with another bluebird weekend. The snow Saturday was very fun, with fresh still to be had (we were getting some first tracks until almost noon). Our crew spent time in a few different spots on the mountain this weekend. Saturday was spent skiing a few runs off the Cirque, a few in Rock Island and Burn Side Cliffs, then we headed over to Hanging Valley Head Wall where we took a few laps.
Sunday was a recovery day of sorts as we skied all over the mountain, seeing where we could find some fun sun baked snow and some snow well shaded (both of which skied pretty good)
In other news, I'd like to say congrats to all that competed in Telluride this past weekend from Aspen/Snowmass. Two guys in the top five and rumor has it the announcer was calling Aspen/Snowmass the talent factory.
