Nitros Report 1/25/08....WHO WON?? TANNER OR SIMON??
Submitted by nitro on January 25, 2008 - 10:20am. x gamesWhat a first night of Winter X. The lights, the crowd, and the superpipe! If you look real hard at the 2nd hit....you can see GR and I! You will need to hit pause. We were right on the railing of the superpipe. Dumont and Hall flying over our heads. So...much debate over the past 2 years on who should have won. I have my own opinion, but would love to hear yours...who won??

Submitted by nitro on January 8, 2008 - 5:29pm. new snowSunday could have been the best day of skiing in my life. 11 years in Colorado and I have never seen anything like this. More is on the way with about a foot predicting by Thursday. I have found a new line in Rock Island thanks to some High Society guys. I hope you get out and enjoy Snowmass....79" base and counting!

Make sure you get your turns in as this weekend will be outstanding. What a difference a few weeks can make when it snows almost everyday. Many areas on Snowmass that do not open until mid January are open now including great lines down Rock Island, the Dikes, the Wall. Incredible...time to get up here!
Nitro's Report 11.29.7
Submitted by nitro on November 29, 2007 - 2:48pm. back countryWe are close everyone. Today's top to bottom skiing from the Knob was great. Some nice little powder shots off to the sides of the trails from our last storm make it quite an enjoyable day. We are optimistic that this upcoming storm will allow the mountain to open the new terrain park along with....dare I say....the Burn Chair. Check out NOAA weather website to see what we see...it is looking good. Take care and we hope to see you on the Mountain soon.
